Mint - Pudina (Mentha) is a genus of plants in the family Lamiaceae, has a subcosmopolitan distribution across -Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and North America. Estimated 13 to 18 species exist, but exact distinction between species is still unclear. Hybridization between some species occurs naturally. Many other hybrids, as well as numerous cultivars, are known.
