A monoblock pump is a mechanical device in which a common shaft contains the rotating parts. Owing to this, during the transmission from motor to shaft, there is less loss of energy. In mono block pumps the impeller of the pump and the rotor of the motor are mounted on a common shaft where as in conventional pumps both have individual shafts and are coupled with a couling. |
